Billy Wayne Davis is what you would get if Lenny Bruce, Bill Cosby and Foghorn Leghorn had a baby, only he doesn't look like some kind of horrible mutant. Originally from Nashville, TN, he has been touring all over the country for the better part of a decade, winning audiences over with a combination of humor both cutting and absurd that puts him pretty squarely into a league of his own. While it is something of a cliché to say that Billy Wayne "makes it look easy", it is hard to deny that when onstage he certainly doesn't appear to be trying very hard, and that pretty much sums up his appeal. He can make a connection with virtually any kind of audience, from drunken rednecks to snobby, latte-sipping elitists and everywhere in between. He has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Colin Quinn, Lisa Lampanelli, Louis CK and Mitch Hedberg and has toured as the feature act for national headliner Ralphie May. He has performed festivals, comedy clubs and theaters as diverse as Seattle's Bumbershoot, The Ryman in Nashville, the now defunct alt haven Rififi in New York City, the Comedy Works in Denver and the LA Improv.
