Most comedy careers begin the same way; open mic night and free drinks. Roderick Paulette has been a professional comedian for the last eleven years. He tours across the country playing comedy clubs and colleges. His comedy is a blend of clever observations, biting sarcasm, and life experiences. He has appeared on Rascals Comedy Hour and Showtime"s Comedy Club Network. In 1995 he came in second place at the Vail Comedy Competition. Recently he finished a short film for the Independent Film Channel entitled "Turkey Day", as well as the feature, Jacked Up, for Artisan Pictures. In the fall of 2003 he will debut his one man show, Without the Mic, in his home town of Columbus, OH and begin work on The Valet, a short film he wrote and will direct.
